The Three-Part Sequence

The main nightly audio

The rhythm, then Psalm 4 (the mind that knows it's worried), then Psalm 91 (the fear with no name) — the same sequence Anselm held onto for seventy years.

Good evening. I'm David. What you're about to hear isn't a coincidence... There are three parts, and the order they come in isn't random. First part — the rhythm. Inhale in the pause, exhale on the word. Second part — Psalm 4: "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." Third part — Psalm 91: "You will not fear the terror of night... for he will command his angels concerning you, to keep you in all your ways."
